15. Business Parameter Questions

15A Question: How do I create, edit, or freeze operator accounts and user roles?

Answer: (i) Click the "gear" icon in the upper-right corner of the system and select "Identity Management".

(ii) On the "Identity Management > Personnel" page, click "Add Personnel".

(iii) Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required; the password can be set manually.

Email addresses must be unique and cannot be reused.

The "Personnel Type" can be set to Standard Administrator or Trader.

  • Standard Administrator: may log in to the Securities Backend but may not log in to the WTT client.
  • Trader: may log in to both the Securities Backend and the WTT client.

(iv) In the action column, click "Edit" to modify the email and name;

click "..." to choose "Freeze" to freeze the account or "Mark as Resigned"; the status will be displayed as Deleted.

(v) To add permissions for a user: select "Individual Permissions" or "Role List," then click "Bind Permissions" or "Bind Role" to assign permissions.

(vi) When adding individual permissions, select from "Securities Backend / Client Management / Operations Backend / Global Settings / Securities Trading Frontend," check the relevant permissions, and then click "Confirm."

15B Question: How do I modify a role's name or remarks?

Answer: On "Identity Management > Roles," click "Edit." Toggle the "Hidden Information" button to reveal the fields where you can modify the role name and the remarks/description.
