Permission Request
Permission Policy Model
The Whale Back Office (WBO) permission request system is organized around functional permission policies at the primary business module level — replacing the previous approach based on secondary menu operations. Permissions are categorized into three main policy types:
Full-Function Permissions (Policy), Read-Only Permissions (Policy), and Other Specified Permissions (Policy)

Whale operators can submit new permission requests according to the new permission policies. For certain temporary permission policies, Whale operators can set the Expires time (left blank by default). This time serves as a reference for the approval process.

The new permission policy configuration model uses "Automatic Policy Updates": When a policy is modified (permissions added or removed), the changes take effect immediately, and WBO operators do not need to reapply the policy.
Additionally, if an operator attempt to access a menu or feature for which they lack permissions, the system will display a prompt. Clicking this prompt will take the operator directly to the permission request page.

Role Management Details
The updated WBO permission policy model also improves role management. When operators assign permissions to roles, the new policy model will be applied.

To create a system role, click Add Role in the top-right corner and select the permission policies that define what tasks the role can perform.

User Management Details
Whale displays permission policies on the Users page.
The Personal Permissions tab displays all private permissions assigned to a user. From here, an operator can:
- Click Details to see the permissions contained in a policy.
- Remove a specific policy or permission from a user.
- Assign a policy or permission to a user.
The Roles List tab displays all roles assigned to a user. From here, an operator can:
- Remove a role from a user.
- Assign a new role to a user.
