Quick Start

Overview

The Whale Accounting Middle Platform fully supports brokerage securities business accounting processes, including end-to-end management of accounting parameters, accounting entries, account balances, account detail ledgers, and accounting data sources.

For brokerage securities business, once the accounting parameters have been configured, the system supports automatic retrieval of data sources and the generation of accounting entries for exportable reports.

Quick Start

Prerequisites

You must obtain the following authorizations to use the system functions properly.

Accounting Parameters

Account Attribute Configuration

Before using the Accounting Middle Platform, brokers must configure account attributes.

Step 1: View Account Attributes

Each brokerage firm can customize account attributes.

Step 2: Configure Account Attributes

Click "Account Attributes" at the top-right: "Add", and set the corresponding account attribute information.

Chart of Accounts Configuration

Each brokerage firm can customize its chart of accounts.

Step 1: View Chart of Accounts

Step 2: Configure Chart of Accounts

Depending on the number of accounts, you may choose "Add" or "Upload(Bulk)".

Journal Entry Rule Configuration

Each brokerage firm can customize journal entry rules.

Step 1: View Entry Rules

Step 2: Configure Entry Rules

Click "Entry Rules" at the top-right: "Add", and set the journal entry rules for the brokerage firm.

Fund Type Configuration

Each brokerage firm can define fund types.

Step 1: View Fund Types

Step 2: Configure Fund Types

Click "Fund Types" at the top-right: "New", and set the fund types for the brokerage firm.

Aggregation Rule Configuration

Each brokerage firm can customize aggregation rules according to export report requirements.

Step 1: View Aggregation Rules

Step 2: Configure Aggregation Rules

Click "Aggregation Rules" at the top-right: "Add", and set the aggregation rules for the brokerage firm.

Business Type Configuration

Each brokerage firm can personalize configurations according to whether accounting is required.

Step 1: View Business Types

Step 2: Configure Business Types

Click "Business Types" at the top-right: "Add", and set the business types indicating whether accounting is required for the brokerage firm.

Accounting Results Query

After brokerage securities transactions occur, the system will generate accounting results based on the accounting parameters for users to query and export.

Financial Report Export

The Accounting Middle Platform can be customized to the financial report format used by a brokerage firm's financial software, and the system exports financial reports directly.
