6.0.1 Share/Dividend Distribution Operations (BE Category)
a. On the "Corporate Actions" page, click "New" to add a corporate action.

b. Select Manual Create: choose Announcement Type (see 5.1 Announcement Types: BE (Benefit Entitlement) / Underlying (stock code)) / enter Announcement Number (must be unique) / select Ex‑Dividend Date or Record Date, then click "Confirm".
Quick Create: only applicable when a CCNAN05 file has been imported.

c. After creation, the item will appear on the main interface. In the action column, click "Details" to enter the information.

d. In the "Announcement Information" section, click "Edit"; fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. After completing the entries, click "Confirm".
- Transfer Fee Charged: select "Yes"/"No".
- Distribution: typically NOMINEE.
- Execution Method: "Mandatory" cannot be chosen by the client; "Optional" can be selected by the client in the app.
- Payment Date: the system accounting date (viewable on the "Clearing Management > End‑of‑Day Tasks" page; in the example below the accounting date is February 2).



e. In the "Scheme Information" section, click "Edit" to modify the dividend/distribution details.


f. On the "Edit Scheme" page, fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. The default scheme is "Yes". After entering the information, click "Confirm".
- Scheme Type: "BE-CASH DIVIDEND" indicates a cash dividend.
- Distribution Currency: the currency in which the distribution will be made.
- Dividend Rate: enter the amount distributed per share; for example, entering 0.78 = $0.78 dividend per share.


g. Required fields for different BE announcement types are listed below:
(i). Scheme Type: BE - CASH DIVIDEND (Cash Dividend)
- Distribution Currency
- Dividend Rate: amount distributed per share

(ii). Scheme Type:
BE - SCRIP DIVIDEND (Scrip Dividend - Optional)
- Distribution Currency
- Dividend Rate: number of shares distributed per share
- Distribution Security (stock code)
- Reinvestment Price (price of distributed shares)

(iii). Scheme Type:
BE - SCRIP EVENT (Scrip Event - Mandatory)
- Distribution Security (stock code)
Example: 1 share for every 4 shares
- Ratio (Old): enter "4"
- Ratio (New): enter "1"

(iv). Scheme Type:
BE - RIGHTS ISSUE (Rights Issue)
- Distribution Security (stock code) Example: 1 share for every 4 shares
- Ratio (Old): enter "4"
- Ratio (New): enter "1"

(v). Scheme Type:
BE - BONUS ISSUE (Stock Dividend)
- Distribution Security (stock code)
Example: 5 shares for every 2 shares
- Ratio (Old): enter "2"
- Ratio (New): enter "5"

h. In the "Fee Rules" section, review the fees charged. To make a one‑time modification to the fees, click "Edit"; after completing the changes, click "Confirm".


i. If the Announcement Information, Scheme Information, and Fee Rules are correct, click "Register" and "Confirm" to submit the registration.


j. After "Registration" succeeds, view the transferred amount in the "Details Summary" section. If the amount differs, click "Rounding Adjustment" to modify the distribution amount.


k. In the "Customer Details" section, view customers eligible for distribution. Click "Add" to include individual customers in the dividend list; click "Void" to remove a customer; click "Details" to modify an individual customer's fee information or the distribution amount of their entitlement.


l. If any information has been modified, click "Re-register" to refresh the data. Once the information is confirmed correct, click "Submit for Execution" to proceed to the next step.

m. After confirming the total dividend amount and total fees to be charged, click "Submit for Execution".

n. The reviewer may click "Download Report SDR040‑09" and select the PDF file; view the corporate action details in "Report Management > Export List". If the information is correct, click "Execute Review".


o. Click "Approve". If this option is selected, the app will send a push notification.

p. The status will update to "Execution Successful".

q. Locate the related distribution records and fees on the "Asset Accounts > Account Details > Cash" page.
