Assignment Interface

Whale provides basic user experience optimizations for unit assignments. The following are some common design interactions:

Standardized batch-operation interaction on certain pages: corresponding action buttons appear after selection

No records currently selected.

After selection, applicable action buttons will automatically appear.

Some unit-assignment table pages support clicking the full-row hot area to enter details (left-side slide-out)

Record details slide out from the left.

Some unit-assignment pages support a bottom-anchored horizontal scrollbar

Use the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom to view records to the left and right.

Some unit table pages support a sticky table header (table columns remain fixed and do not scroll)

Table header is fixed at the top.

General Component Operation Instructions

  • Input Field Hints

    • Some fields include specific placeholder text to provide guidance for operation.
  • Date Fields

    • Clicking the date box will display a calendar for convenient selection.
  • Combobox Fields

    • Clicking the down-arrow in the combobox will display the combobox options.
  • Customer Fields

    • The system provides multiple fields to facilitate locating and querying the corresponding customer.
  • Advanced Search

    • In the search criteria area, select this to expand or collapse additional search criteria fields.
  • Fields Supporting Search

    • If the prompt displays the word "Search," the field supports fuzzy search.
  • Table/List Pagination

    • You can configure the number of results per page and navigate to a specific page.
  • Export Search Results

    • You can export the table data of search results and provide a download function.
  • Required Field Indicator

    • A red asterisk (*) before a field name indicates that the field is required.
  • Add/Remove Controls

    • Indicates that data groups can be added or removed.
  • Search and Clear Functions

    • You can perform searches based on query fields and clear the search criteria.
  • Export Data

    • You can export list records to Excel/CSV.
  • Field Helper Text

    • The "i" icon next to a field can display helper text.
  • Other List Action Buttons

    • Other list action buttons can be accessed by selecting the "..." icon.
  • Customizable List Columns

    • You can select which columns are displayed in the list.
  • New Tip Interaction Prompt

    • When a new tip is available, an interaction prompt will be displayed the first time.
