Message Settings ​

Message Settings is a proprietary Whale WBO system feature that enables brokerage operations personnel to issue specific message notifications for the scenarios below, facilitating real-time message notification management.

Scenario 1: To-Do Notifications (Workflow / Task-Based)

  1. Certain approvals or workflow node reviews can notify a specific WBO backend user or any user with the required permissions.
  2. Task reminders.

Scenario 2: System Notifications (SaaS Providers)

  1. Announcements for system maintenance, upgrades, and new feature releases.
  2. Notices regarding secure system logins.
  3. Notices related to certain brokerage business operations.

Scenario 3: System Operational Notifications (Securities)

  1. Example: Exchange rate import operation reminders.
  2. Example: Manual settlement operation reminders.
  3. Example: Report generation reminders.

Subscription Management ​

Access is located under the settings icon next to the user avatar.

Navigation menu: Global Settings > Message Settings > Subscription Management

  • This feature is primarily used to maintain user-facing message subscription management.

When you need to add a new message subscription, click [New].

You may configure delivery channels according to the message types provided by the system. The system currently supports email notifications and Webhook. You can select system users or system roles as message recipients.

After completing a message subscription, notifications will be delivered via the configured channels.

  • (System 01/30: New feature) To provide more message notifications, the system has been optimized to add the following business alert message types:

    • New email alert management for daily successful execution of accounting entries.
    • New email alert management for bank statement balance reconciliation.
    • New email alert management for successful entry rerun results.
    • New email alert management for failed entry rerun tasks.

  • (System 04/10: New feature) The "New Customer Bank Card Alert" and "New Customer Bank Card Approval Alert" can be configured as approval alerts as needed.

When an alert is activated, the relevant personnel will receive an email notification.
